Day6 - Leg2 - Bots+Zim - Fix burned tyre

After a big party the whole day before, it was difficult getting going again today. Everyone was doing their own thing so I walked around looking at each set of people to see what they were up to.

Some were gargling the national anthem using Jagermeister, some were fixing the bikes burned out tyre from the evening before, some were watching international rugby on TV, some were just sitting in the sun.Others were cleaning their bikes for a clean bike competition.

This is the daily blog from Africa4Adventure.com, in particular a short series on the Botswana and Zimbabwe - Giraffe Motorbike tour we attended during July 2011. Check out the original plans and route for the trip here.
More South and Southern African motor cycle tours on our list of tour route summaries are available, where we explore these sorts of motorcycle tour routes. Just choose one of our events and reserve yourself a place on one of the future motorcycle adventure safari events.

Found the guys fixing the burned out KTM tyre from yesterday
New tyre on the bike now and ready for the finishing touches

Meanwhile - others we in good spirits, gargling the national anthem using Jagermeister!

Feeling on top of the world today!
Motel Pub - note the TV above the door! 22 people watched an international game but too small
Outside, with fishing rods in the roof

People were all over the place, some camping, some in rooms

Some interesting old bikes around too

People milling about getting ready for a clean bike competition
