Day5 - Leg3 - Bots+Zim - Rural shop stop

This is the daily blog from Africa4Adventure.com, in particular a short series on the Botswana and Zimbabwe - Giraffe Motorbike tour we attended during July 2011. Check out the original plans and route for the trip here.

After quite some distance we arrived at a small shop in a village. We needed a break and it was about beer o'clock so we looked to see where we could get a drink. The first shop didn't have anything but told us to go down the road about 300m and there was a small shop there selling beer.

Outside this shop was a small sign pointing to a barber shop, which ironically Vaalie, who had had half his hair shaved off in a Vic Falls bar, was standing under. Vaalie decided to pop off and have the rest cut off properly while we were there.

We all relaxed looked at the amazing views, took in the atmosphere, chatted to the locals and had a beer.
More South and Southern African motor cycle tours on our list of tour route summaries are available, where we explore these sorts of motorcycle tour routes. Just choose one of our events and reserve yourself a place on one of the future motorcycle adventure safari events.
