We went out that night down to the local Shoestrings backpackers pub, and found Dexterous Dexter, who is an artist and is concerned as we all are about the state of the world.

As a rasta man, Dexter decided to try and show by way of an art-work, how a miniture world could live in peace and harmony. So 6 years ago Dexter set about building this mini "world" out of wire and cloth and other things. It all works by turning a handle on the side which mechanically drives people to do things like hoe their land, chop wood, gather crops, wave, dance, even make love, etc. It is split into countries. The work is absolutely amazing to see. If you are in Vic Falls look Dexter up - you will not be disappointed!  (Apologies - these pictures do not show nearly enough detail and it was dark...)
