The previous evening we had decided to try and get away at 8am so as to get through the border post into Zimbabwe from Botswana quickly. However the next morning, with one or two people who had had a very big night, it took until 9am jut to get people going and onto their bikes.
Eventually it got to the point where the majority decided to head off to the border post and let the others catchup later. We were only doing a short hop today of about 70km from Kasane to Vic Falls with a border post in the middle.
We had stayed at this very new lodge, still in the process of having their vegetation and gardens landscaped. It was an extremely friendly place and very good value for money. I believe this will be an outstanding place to come to in a year or two once the vegetation has taken off fully and the balance of the building work is complete.
