Day2 - Leg1 - Calitzdorp - Breakfast

This is the daily blog from Africa4Adventure.com, in particular a short series on the Calitzdorp Port and Wine festival we attended during June 2011.
More South and Southern African motor cycle tours on our list of tour route summaries are available, where we explore these sorts of motorcycle tour routes. Just choose one of our events and reserve yourself a place on one of the future motorcycle adventure safari events.

Next day, in search of a red wine hangover cure we went off in search of a good farmers breakfast. We found one at a small place in town, where they had coffee and a fire place to keep warm. After this we were off to the wine and port festival so we needed some food in us.

Afterwards we bought a box of freshly picked tangarines from the locals for a rediculously inexpensive amount which lasted us for a week.

Rob adjusting some luggage first

Found a breakfast spot with coffee and a fire

I loved the metal work ford pickup on the wall made out a sheet of metal and an angle grinder

Naartjies (Tangarines) anyone?
