We pulled into Ceres for petrol and then some breakfast. We were both not that hungry as it was too early but knew we needed to get strong for the ride. Ended up loading up on mega-coffees and then heading out into the Karoo. It is incredible how quickly it changes from lush green winelands into semi-arid desert. Also we were now getting close to being mostly on dirt for the next 800km or so.
