Day 23 - Leg 6 - Arrive in Steytlerville - Great Karoo

Steytlerville in the Great Karoo is such a pleasant  surprise in what feels literally like the middle of nowhere. Remember one has just ridden  the best part of 150km to get here through endless mountains and wide open plains to get here so it is pretty remote. To make it worse I arrvied on a Saturday afternoon, which made me wonder if I'd get anything open for a bit to eat or even filling up with petrol.

Looking back

I was not dissapointed however - the good folk of Steytlerville we all open and things were buzzing in their own way.
