This part of the journey saw a lot of
Bontebok, with some Springbok. We had to keep riding really slowly and as quietly as possible to avoid chasing them away, particularly the Sprinkbok, they are very skittish. Without a zoom lens with us it was difficult enough getting pictures, but if they run away you'd see absolutely nothing at all. in this section of the valley we were really lucky and saw group after group of buck grazing together, naturally, left and right of the road for miles.
