Leaving Barrydale, I pulled over to get this picture of the route sign, and as I looked up I saw in the distance a whole troup of baboons starting to cross the road 2 at a time - there must have been at least 30 of them of all sizes.
Being on the bike I decided not to start it up again and try and move closer because it only chases them away and then I miss the picture, so with my little pocket camera on full zoom I managed to get these pics.
The Baboons cleverly wait, hidden in the bush and then come out checking for cars before darting across - they are not that good at the "looking out for cars" part, because one ran out in front of a car and it had to slow right down. But as a traveller riding along, you'd never ever guess there are about 30 because you only ever see about two or three at a time.

Then two more wander across |
Then some babies run across quickly, waited on by the older ones |
The older one sits on the pole of the barrier to get viewing height and more come across |
