All good things come to those that Ride! I arrived tired and exhausted in Calitzdorp after all the dirt roads and looking around found this wonderful guest lodge called
Spekboom Cottages. The added bonuses were that it had its own little pub on the premises and I got given a whole cottage as accommodation.
James made me feel right at home by immediately offering me a free drink of my choice at the bar! I was then shown the cottage and offered a bottle of wine to take and sit in front of the fire and relax with, since I was rather tired and didn't want a late night. Awesome hosts all round, well worth stays at in the future.
