The next morning I left Calitzdorp after an excellent breakfast. I decided that on the last day of the trip I'd stick to the famous R62 Karoo route down to Cape Town. I'd be back home by this evening if all went according to plan.
I was immediately met with the Huisrivier pass which was a pleasant surprise first thing in the morning. It's a bit like riding a roller coaster.
