The days started early and we watched the sunrise as we drove the 300km up there. Great day again.

Once we reached the Underberg the autumn colours were beginning to show. As you drive into the town it is particularly pretty with the tree colours in the foreground and the mountains in the distance.
Driving into Underberg
Then a few kilometeres further on we came to the farm where Splashy is held in the Drakensberg mountains. It is an amazing place, with a river flowing through it and surrounded by hills and mountains.

The scenery where we were staying was constantly changing and just breath-taking

Well we had made it there safely. We'd pitched our tents in a rush in some splatterings of rain, only to stop raining two minutes later and it did not to rain again for the whole weekend, which was nice.

Next we knew it was going to get chilly by night (2 degrees C or so) so we headed off to buy firewood we had seen some of the locals selling as we drove in. They were quite keen to have their picture taken.

Beautiful scenery again
Looking forward to four days of music, fun and games. Let the fun begin...
