The previous evening while sitting in the bar and chatting to locals, we asked then where a good place to ride would be, given that we were heading towards Frasierberg. They immediately said "Die Ou Pos Weg", which in English is "The Old Post Road". They explained how we would get there by turning off to Rhenoster valley, just after the observatory so we did that and found it to be a magnificent road for 180km of pure Karoo wildness and the odd farm along the way. If we counted ten farms along the way that was a lot, probably less!
