Windmills are staple diet for photographers in the Karoo, it just one thing you have to take a picture of when you're there. That and as I near Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich farms with many fine birds on display. The big birds run a mile when bikes come past so you have to be very quiet when approaching them if you want a picture of them too. The windmills stay put fortunately.
