Day 20 - Leg 7 - Umtamvuna bridge

This river marks the border between Kwa-Zulu Natal and the Eastern Cape province. Not too many years ago the only way across was using a pont that ran across for travellers. More recently (+/-about 25 years ago) a bridge was built to give access to both the Transkei and the wildcoast casino.It has also allowed for a more recent tar road to be put through the Transkei down to Port St. Johns, which used to be quite a mission to reach 10 years back.
