One of the last stretches in the Orange Free State towards Bloemfontein, took us over flat flat land, past buck, and huge open fields of grass on long dusty roads. A nice easy ride and we could make good time on the dirt roads there. We needed to because we had to get to meet all our old school mates for a drink at about 6pm so we needed to get there around 4pm to park up the bikes and freshen up.

Nice flat roads meant we could make good time |
We stumbled upon some buck on the side of the road |
Majestic beasts |
Looking the other way was vast fields of dense yellowish thatch type grass |
Thirsty work this dusty adventure riding! We were to make up for it with beer later! |
Buck in the very far distance now as they shy away from the bikes |
Springbok also heading away from the bikes |
Jumping and "pronking" as they go. |
The Orange free State - flat as can be with the occasional hill |
Back onto the tar, we are nearly in Bloemfontein now. |
